After a busy day exploring the castle, relax and refuel in the tearoom with hot and cold drinks, cakes, toasted ciabattas, ice creams and children's lunch bags, along with alcoholic tipples and treats for your four-legged friends. From April to October we also serve homemade baguettes, and from November to March you can warm up with a bowl of soup.
The tearoom's log burner gives it a cosy cottage feel. If the weather’s fine, take a seat outside to soak up the views of the Shropshire Hills.
We’re beginning work on a new play area next to our tearoom, inspired by the castle and designed to add a little extra fun for young explorers.
While construction is underway, parking may be more limited and parts of the site could be busier than usual.
Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements.
Curator of Collections and Interiors Cameron Moffett, and Senior Properties Curator Louise Bartlett, discuss a 13th century feast that took place at Stokesay Castle in Shropshire.
