Plan a Great Day Out

York is a 20 mile drive away from Steeton Hall, and is home to two fascinating English Heritage sites. Climb to the top of the ramparts of Clifford's Tower for fantastic views over the city, and descend into York Cold War Bunker for an insight into how Britain would have coped with the fallout from a nuclear war.
