Get Involved

Every day, thousands of people up and down the country help us to tell the story of England, and you could be one of them.

Whether it’s helping to plant bulbs in formal gardens, running craft workshops for families or answering questions from curious visitors, there are a huge range of roles available.

Why Volunteer

Find a Volunteer Opportunity

Be part of our team of volunteers at Dover Castle

Dover Castle

Dover Castle is looking for volunteers across the site, from the Great Tower to the Fortress Dover. At Dover Castle we want visitors to be able to discover what it was like to live and work in Dover Castle during it's extensive history, and we need you to help.

If you have some spare time, are great with people and would relish the opportunity to get involved in an exciting retelling of history - these are the opportunities for you.
