It is visited by thousands of people each year and our team works hard to create a great visitor experience for everyone in this beautiful location. Our cafe is very much at the heart of this and we are looking for a driven and proactive Catering Manager to join us in late March 2018 onwards.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the cafe. Ensuring that standards are achieved and maintained, both in the front and back of house, and that all legal requirements are met. You will manage the team to ensure an outstanding eating experience is provided for all our visitors, whilst optimizing opportunities to generate income. The role is full-time all year round, working 36 hours per week. We need you on weekends and bank holidays and you will work 5 days on and 2 off, between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm. There are no split shifts or late nights with this role.
We are looking for you to show experience of excellent customer service, staff supervision, being part of a team as well as being able to work independently. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional organisation skills as well as being a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills with both visitors and colleagues.
Our cafe provides the social hub of this historic site and you will play a vital part in creating a warm and welcoming environment where our visitors can relax and enjoy high quality food.
