Local master potter Graham Taylor recreates the life of the travelling craftsman from Roman Britain. He will be travelling along the wall seeking out the forthcoming Roman army. There are opportunities for hands on fun for all junior potters too.

Soldiers of the XIV Legion visit the fort and display their military skills, uniforms and weapons. Meet the Centurion and the Guards under his command and discover life in the Roman army. Plus for junior Roman’s we have drill practice.
