On weekends in July and August (and Bank Holiday Monday) we are making it easier for people to enjoy Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens. Go North East will be offering four return journeys every day from Newcastle’s Haymarket Bus Station, via Ponteland, to Belsay. The X75 Belsay Express will leave from Haymarket Stan R. Anyone travelling by bus to the site will receive a 20% discount on admission. Currently all visits to Belsay must be pre booked. Online bookings can be made by visiting the Belsay website. English Heritage does not permit hunting at any of the historic sites in our care, including at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens. However, the area in our care at Belsay is surrounded by land which is owned and managed by the Belsay Estate, a private landowner.
