Witley Court is a great day out for the whole family. Get hands-on with history and join in with one of our many Victorian inspired events.
From traditional toy-making to watching the hilarious antics of Punch and Judy there is something for all children to enjoy whatever their age.

Adventure playground
Calling all adventurers! Spend the day exploring our play area in the enchanting woodland. Can you keep your balance as you cross the wobbly bridge to the tree house beyond? With slides, rope walks and a scramble net there is plenty to keep you entertained all day long.
Younger children can discover the nature inspired muscial instruments as well as a 'nest-like' basket swing, wooden animal rides and more. The play area has been designed to be enjoyed throughout the year.
Wildlife Walk
Walk beyond the Wilderness Play Area and discover the wildlife who call Witley their home. Pick up a free wildlife spotter sheet and look out for birds, squirrels and rabbits. If you are very lucky you may even spot a great crested grebe fishing for his supper.
If you're still feeling energetic run along the winding paths through the woods and around the lake or make your way up to the gardens where the children can play happily whilst the rest of the family relax on the beautifully manicured lawns.

- Hot and cold drinks and light refreshments available at the visitor centre.
- Independent tearoom located next to the house.
- Picnics welcome in the grounds. Picnic tables near the visitor centre.
- Pushchairs welcome throughout.
