Followers of the official English Heritage account on Instagram will be able to enter the competition by sharing their favourite photo of an English Heritage site with the hashtag #adventurequest.

How to enter:

a. Share your favourite photo of an English Heritage site with #adventurequest and;
b. Follow English Heritage (@EnglishHeritage) on Instagram

Entries must be received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to be eligible for entry into the competition. This competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom.

One overall winner and five runners up will be selected at random by English Heritage from all eligible entries received. The overall winner will receive a Fujifilm instax mini 11 camera. Two second prize winners will receive either the English Heritage Monopoly board game or the English Heritage Cluedo board game. Three third prize winners will win a 234-piece Lego Creator ‘Fire Dragon’ kit.

English Heritage will contact each winner via Instagram Direct Message within 14 days of the competition closing date to arrange delivery of their prize, which will be sent within 28 calendar days of receiving confirmation of the winner’s address.

All entries received before the Opening Time or after the Closing Time are automatically disqualified.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

All entries must be the sole work of the entrant.

By entering this competition, individuals consent to allowing English Heritage using, reposting, repurposing or sharing across their website, print and social media for Marketing purposes in perpetuity.

The entry, name and Instagram handle of the overall winner and runners up will be used by English Heritage and shared on English Heritage’s official Instagram account.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

All personal data provided to English Heritage will be held and processed in accordance with the requirements of all legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time relating to the use of personal data and the privacy of electronic communications, including (i) the Data Protection Act 2018 and any successor UK legislation, as well as (ii) the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) and any other directly applicable European Union regulation relating to data protection and privacy (for so long as and to the extent that the law of the European Union has legal effect in the UK).

We will keep your personal data safe and secure. We will not share it with other organisations without your knowledge and consent, unless required by law to do so. We will keep your personal data only for the purposes of communicating with you regarding this competition.

Employees or contractors of English Heritage, any person directly or indirectly involved in English Heritage or the running of the competition, or their direct family members are not eligible for the prize. English Heritage’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives. English Heritage reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.
