English Heritage launches public consultation on new Clifford’s Tower plans
English Heritage held a consultation on new plans for Clifford’s Tower, between October & December 2019. The charity is seeking the views of the public on the designs, and hopes to submit applications for planning permission and Scheduled Monument Consent in 2020. The consultation follows the charity’s decision not to proceed with constructing a new visitor building at the base of Clifford’s Tower’s mound in June 2018.
