Discover Mount Grace Priory

Explore the ruins of the priory at your leisure, the last monastery to be built in Yorkshire before the Reformation and regarded as the best preserved and most accessible of the 10 Carthusian monasteries in England. The Manor House, was built from the ruins of the monks' guest house and was extended at the turn of the 20th century it is a showcase for the craftsmanship of the Arts and Craft movement with William Morris wallpaper and its furniture from this period. To the front of the property the terrace and its gardens are beautifully preserved and attract a huge variety of wildlife.
