Winter Solstice 2025

Stonehenge was built to align with the sun on the solstices. This remarkable feat is celebrated each year in Summer and Winter. This year, Winter Solstice will take place on Sunday 21 December.

Note: Parking for Winter Solstice has now sold out. If you haven’t pre-booked, please do not drive to site as there will not be space available for parking. There are buses running from Salisbury, and we will be livestreaming the celebrations free on our YouTube and Facebook channels. You can also follow our X and Threads channels for any event updates.
