This year, 2022, is Sir Tim Laurence’s final year as Chair of English Heritage. As Sir Tim’s second term of office finishes in December, we have now started the process of recruiting a new Chair. English Heritage is looking for someone to lead the charity on the next phase of its journey, supporting us to care for some of the most important historic sites in the country and to keep the story of England alive for future generations.

The search for a new Chair

Applications for the new Chair of English Heritage are now open. We are being helped in our search by the recruitment company Saxton Bampfylde. The closing date for applications will be Monday 14 March and for more information, visit https://www.saxbam.com/appointment/english-heritage/
