Boscobel House and The Royal Oak
SUITABLE FORFamilies
Step back in time at Boscobel House as we celebrate all things Victorian!
Meet characters from the past demonstrating crafts and skills of the Victorian era. Watch our travelling blacksmith working at the forge, see how corn dollies were made, and visit the woodworker to see traditional hurdles being made.
As you explore the grounds, enjoy the smells of freshly baked bread and cakes which would have kept the workers going after a day on the farm, and hear tales of Victorian remedies from the country doctor.
Take part in traditional Victorian games with horseshoeing tossing, hoopla, and coconut shy!
