Terms and Conditions for Monthly Direct Debit Payments for English Heritage Trust membership

You agree to take out the selected English Heritage membership for one year.

We will write to you shortly before the end of your membership year and send you a new membership card for the following year. If you are happy to continue, there is no need to take any action. If you wish to cancel at that point, we will provide the contact details.

Your membership fee is payable in twelve monthly instalments and we will send you a payment schedule which will tell you your instalment amounts and the dates on which they become payable.

If you fail to pay any instalment within seven days of the date set out in the payment schedule, we will write to you and give you the opportunity either to set up your direct debit again, or pay all instalments due for the remainder of your membership by alternative means.

If you then fail to pay the relevant amount due by the required date, your English Heritage membership will be closed.

Please note that these provisions will not apply if your failure to pay is due to a bank or English Heritage error.
