Win West End theatre tickets for the whole family

Three epic shows. One amazing summer.

Whether you’re after belly laughs, brilliant storytelling or edge-of-your-seat entertainment, Nimax Kids have the whole family covered this summer, with The Gruffalo at the Lyric, Horrible Histories at the Apollo, and Brainiac Live! at the Garrick Theatre.

Tall Stories’ much-loved magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler returns by popular demand, celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary. Tickets start from £10, and the show is suitable for ages three and over.

We all want to meet people from history – the trouble is everyone’s dead! Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain – The Best Bits brings them back to life by delving into the history of Britain – with the nasty bits left in. Tickets start from £19.50, and the show is suitable for anyone “aged five to 105”.

Following its 2025 Olivier Award for Best Family Show, science’s greatest and most volatile live show – Brainiac Live! – is also returning to the West End, more entertaining and mischievous than ever. Suitable for ages five and over, tickets start from £19.50.

As an English Heritage member, you have the chance to win four tickets to see the show of your choice – scroll down to find out how to enter below.

You can also enjoy the theatre for even less this summer. As part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, children’s tickets are available at a reduced price for showings between 25 June and 1 September – even more reason to come along.

With stories that stay with you long after the curtain falls, come and make some memories with the whole family this summer. Find out more and book tickets for a family day out to remember.
