Win a summer's worth of of ice cream

Long summer days, great days out, and ice cream shared with family and friends – what could be better?

This summer, we're giving one lucky English Heritage member the chance to win a summer's worth of delicious Northern Bloc ice cream. Inspired by two beloved British puddings, the prize includes 24 tubs of Bramley Apple Crumble & Custard and 24 100ml tubs of Sticky Toffee Pudding ice cream – enough to keep your freezer stocked for summer gatherings, garden treats and well-earned moments of indulgence.

Created exclusively for English Heritage by Northern Bloc, these flavours celebrate classic British puddings with a modern twist.

Enjoy the sharp tang of Bramley apples swirled through creamy custard ice cream and golden biscuit crumble, or tuck into rich brown sugar ice cream with ribbons of sticky toffee sauce inspired by one of Britain's most-loved desserts. These special flavours are now available at selected English Heritage sites across the country.

To make sure everyone can enjoy the prize, suitable alternatives are available for allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements.

And that's not all. We'll also be giving prizes to 10 runners-up, each of whom will receive an exclusive Northern Bloc merchandise bundle.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • 1. The Promoter

    1.1 The promoter is: English Heritage of The Engine House, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon, SN2 2EH.

  • 2. The Prize Draw

    2.1 The title of the prize draw is 'Win a summer's worth of ice cream with Northern Bloc'.

  • 3. How to Enter

    3.1 The prize draw will run from 00:01am on 1 July 2026 to 11:59pm on 31 July 2026 inclusive.

    3.2 All prize-draw entries must be received by English Heritage by no later than 11:59pm on 31 July 2026. All prize-draw entries received after this time are automatically disqualified.

    3.3 Enter the prize draw by completing the online entry form provided.

    3.4 English Heritage will not accept:

    (a) responsibility for prize-draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

    (b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.

    3.5 By submitting a prize-draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    3.6 The prize-draw winners will be selected at random by English Heritage. The decision of English Heritage acting reasonably will be final.

  • 4. Eligibility

    4.1 The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over except English Heritage employees or members of their immediate families or households.

    4.2 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. English Heritage may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

    4.3 English Heritage will not accept prize-draw entries that are:

    (a) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
    (b) incomplete.

    4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person.

    4.5 English Heritage reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

  • 5. The Prize

    5.1 One winner will win two cases of English Heritage x Northern Bloc mini ice-cream tubs (24 100ml tubs each of Bramley Apple Crumble & Custard and Sticky Toffee Pudding). Dairy-free/vegan alternatives are available on request.

    5.2 Ten runners-up will each win a merch bundle of Northern Bloc prizes.

  • 6. Winner Announcement

    6.1 English Heritage will contact the winners personally by 7 August 2026 using the email addresses provided with the prize-draw entries.

    6.2 The decision of English Heritage is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

    6.3 English Heritage will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available within seven days, English Heritage reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received on or before 31 July 2026.

    6.4 English Heritage does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

  • 7. Limitation of Liability

    7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, English Heritage, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of English Heritage, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • 9. Data Protection and Publicity

    9.1 By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the prize draw entry may be held and used only by English Heritage or its agents and suppliers to administer the prize draw.

  • 10. General

    10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, English Heritage may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

    10.2 English Heritage reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

    10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
