TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• 1. The Promoter

  1.1 The promoter is: English Heritage of The Engine House, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon, SN2 2EH.

• 2. The prize draw

  2.1 The title of the prize draw is 'Win a pair of tickets to Vikings: The Immersive Experience'.

• 3. How to enter

  3.1 The prize draw will run from 00:01am on 26 March 2026 to 11:59pm on 30 April 2026 inclusive.

  3.2 All prize-draw entries must be received by English Heritage by no later than 11:59pm on 30 April 2026. All prize-draw entries received after this time are automatically disqualified.

  3.3 Enter the prize draw by completing the online entry form provided.

  3.4 English Heritage will not accept:

  (a) responsibility for prize-draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

  (b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.

  3.5 By submitting a prize-draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  3.6 The prize-draw winner will be selected at random by English Heritage. The decision of English Heritage acting reasonably will be final.

• 4. Eligibility

  4.1 The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except: employees or members of their immediate families or households of English Heritage or Think or their holding or subsidiary companies.

  4.2 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. English Heritage may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

  4.3 English Heritage will not accept prize-draw entries that are:

  (a) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
  (b) incomplete.

  4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person.

  4.5 English Heritage reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

• 5. The prize

  5.1 There are five prizes available, with each winner receiving one pair of tickets to Vikings: The Immersive Experience in London.

  5.2 Each prize consists of 2 x Vikings Package tickets for Vikings: The Immersive Experience at Dock X in Canada Water, London. The Vikings Package is currently listed at £50 per ticket and includes admission plus package inclusions listed by the ticketing provider.

  5.3 Vikings: The Immersive Experience is a limited-run experience, with tickets currently on sale until 31 May 2026, and the prize must therefore be redeemed and used only while the experience is operating and tickets remain available.

  5.4 The prize is valid for standard public performance dates and times only, and subject to availability. Exclusion dates and time slots may apply, depending on availability.

  5.5 The prize is for the ticket type stated only and does not include any additional upgrades, add-ons, transportation, accommodation, food, drink, merchandise not already included in the Package, or any other associated costs unless expressly stated.

  5.6 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable, and there is no cash alternative.

  5.7 The prize may not be sold, auctioned, or otherwise transferred for commercial gain.

  5.8 Any attendees using the prize must comply with the venue’s and experience operator’s entry terms, conditions of attendance, age guidance, and health and safety requirements.

  5.9 Any accessibility or access requirements should be advised at the point of booking, and attendance remains subject to the suitability and availability of the relevant performance slot and venue arrangements.

  5.10 Once booked, tickets may be subject to the ticketing partner’s and venue’s booking terms, and changes may not be possible.

  5.11 If the experience is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or materially altered for reasons outside the organiser’s reasonable control, an alternative date or substitute ticket may be offered at the organiser’s discretion, subject to availability.

  5.12 The organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize, or any part of it, with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

• 6. Winner announcement

  6.1 English Heritage will contact the winners personally by 8 May 2026 using the email addresses associated with the memberships.

  6.2 The decision of English Heritage is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

  6.3 English Heritage will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available within seven days, English Heritage reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received on or before 30 April 2026.

  6.4 English Heritage does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
  

• 7. Limitation of Liability

  7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, English Heritage, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of English Heritage, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

• 8. Ownership of Prize-Draw Entries and Intellectual Property Rights

  8.1 English Heritage does not claim any rights of ownership in your prize-draw entry.

• 9. Data Protection and Publicity

  9.1 By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the prize draw entry may be held and used only by English Heritage or its agents and suppliers to administer the prize draw.

• 10. General

  10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, English Heritage may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

  10.2 English Heritage reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

  10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
