Discover Lindisfarne Priory

Overlooking the untouched coastline gives you a memorable opportunity to soak up Holy Island's unique atmosphere. Your holiday starts with a trip across the tidal causeway. When the tide washes over it, the island is cast off from the mainland and you can explore the priory ruins all alone.

Testimonial

Our stay was perfect in every way. We had concerns about living with the tides and being cut off from the mainland but once we were on the Island we had no desire to leave. The view from the house was worth the journey alone. Everyone on the Island was very welcoming and it is such a special place we cannot wait to return.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location The whole experience was fabulous. The cottage was clean, warm and well equipped; even some dog biscuits for our dog. Thoughtful touches like flowers and the best welcome pack I have ever seen. A fantastic weekend away! Thank you

Well maintained and cottage very comfortable bedrooms and great facilities. Easy parking. The cottage was well prepared by the housekeeper and we greatly appreciated the care put into the welcome basket - an excellent range of local and English Heritage produce.

The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and the best equipped we have ever stayed in. It is in an amazing location with fabulous views. The welcoming touches were exceptional and very much appreciated. We would have no hesitation in recommending this to others and would definitely love to visit again. Oh - and the added bonus was that we had glorious weather!!
