Discover Osborne

No 2 Sovereign's Gate Osborne is the second of two holiday cottages that have been developed in this iconic building at Osborne. As the formal entrance to Osborne, Sovereign's Gate welcomed Lords and Ladies and visiting Heads of State to this magnificent royal retreat. Although not used by visitors to Osborne today, it remains the entrance by which members of the Royal family enter the Estate.

Explore the vast estate and garden, as well as Osborne House, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's family home, where you can glimpse into the private life of the royal family. Sovereign's Gate guests can access the beach at all times, including outside of opening to the general public.

Larger groups can book Pavilion Cottage and No. 1 Sovereign's Gate as well.

Testimonial

We thoroughly enjoyed the Osbourne experience especially when the estate closed and we had free rein to walk wherever we wanted. Our dog loved it too!! The cottage was perfect with everything we could have wanted. The hamper contents were classy and well chosen. We would definitely stay again as it was a lovely experience.

Accommodation to a pleasing high standard. Felt welcome and special with the Christmas decorations and generous hampers and gifts. Fabulous to have the estate 'to ourselves' over the the holidays.

We loved having the run of the Osborne estate and particularly enjoyed the long circular walk down to the beach and back via the formal gardens.
