Explore the cottage
Discover Kirby Hall
The cottage has an enclosed garden with car parking for two cars and opens in to the parkland of the Kirby Hall, where peacocks freely roam the grounds. Once the public have gone home, explore the ruins of this once great house and wander around the recently restored great gardens with their elaborate 'cutwork' design, complete with statues and urns.Find out more
A lovely cottage in a very peaceful location.. Rachel the housekeeper was most helpful and friendly and we very much enjoyed the goodies in the welcome hamper. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped.. Beryl in the Visitor’s Centre was also very welcoming and helpful. The peacocks kept us company too!
Wonderful cottage, friendly wildlife (peacocks), lovely location. We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay. The welcome hamper was exceptional and all the staff at the shop/ reception were very warm and welcoming.
A beautiful location and a lovely cottage. The staff were very helpful.
Peacock cottage was delightful. It was very well presented, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The Housekeeper made the cottage very comfortable and cosy. The welcome hamper was of a high standard and the quality of the food was excellent. The site staff were extremely helpful with tips and useful information about what to see and do. Kirby Hall is a wonderful and atmospheric building and a delight to explore. Our break was perfect - thank you very much.
