The Pool House at Witley Court

The Pool House is a four-bedroom holiday cottage that comfortably sleeps eight people, ideal for those special group getaways. Located in the grounds of Witley Court, this holiday cottage was once built in 1930’s to provide residential and office accommodation on the site. Discover glorious rhododendron-lined paths that lead you to the ruined mansion – with its magnificent fountain featuring Perseus and Andromeda. Included in your booking is a luxury hamper, as well as entry to all English Heritage sites and most events, 10% off in our shops and cafés during your stay. Discover Witley Court

Gutted by fire in 1937, Witley Court is now just a shell and provides a hint of the lavish lifestyle enjoyed by the Earls of Dudley in the early 20th century. It is home to a number of rare variety of Rhododendrons some of which may no longer exist elsewhere. Guest can explore the many paths around the grounds and gardens including the large pool designed to supply the water to the spectacular Perseus and Andromeda fountain as well the Flora fountain located in front of Witely Court.

The layout was perfect for our family gathering with plenty of space for everyone (the music room was great the children!) All the staff at Witley Court werel lovely(even putting the fountain on for some late arrivals!) Plenty of cooking utensils, games, books, towels and toiletries. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch.

The cottage presented by Susan was wonderful. The little touches; the note wishing me Happy Birthday was so very thoughtful, we were absolutely delighted by the quality of how Susan presented the house in many ways. Susan is clearly a credit to English Heritage cottages and quite rightly so!
