    Car park located next to Visitor Centre entrance with space for 20-30 cars. Car park is secured with lockable bollards when site is closed. Parking is free (as at 1 March 2012) There is additional parking at Abbey Mill café, located at the far end of the site.
  • Food And Drink

    No café on site, but vending machine offers tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Ice creams and pre-packed snacks also available. There is also a café (not managed by English Heritage) close by.

    Picnics welcome. Picnic benches are located outside the Visitor Centre.

    Our shop area is well stocked and sells a range of wines, liqueurs, gifts, toys, books, snacks and drinks.

    There is a permanent exhibition of stone carvings and effigies in the visitor centre which is easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility.

    If you are looking to use one of our sites for commercial, corporate or professional photography or as a filming location, please contact our filming team as soon as possible to check availability and acquire the relevant permissions and paperwork.

    Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
