There are two exhibitions in the Old Hall visitor centre. On the ground floor there is a display about Beth of Hardwick and her importance in Elizabethan history, as well as the plasterwork and the decoration which would have been found in the Old Hall.
A second exhibition on the first floor explores the change of taste in architecture and building methods during the Elizabethan age.
