Food and Drink

After you've investigated the castle and its wonderful garden to your heart's content, take a load off your feet with a visit to the Kenilworth Castle tearoom. Located in the Tudor stables, where there's an excellent interactive exhibition about the castle's history, you can eat inside or, in good weather, outside next to the tearoom or in the picnic area.

What We Offer

Soup, cakes and a light lunch special - hot in the winter, cold in the summer - are always available, made from seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers. In addition, there's a selection of hot and cold drinks, including Fair Trade tea and coffee. During the summer, sandwiches - both meat-filled and vegetarian - are also on offer.

For those with a sweet tooth, we serve cream teas, each portion consisting of a freshly made scone with clotted cream and jam plus a pot of tea. We also have a array of delicious cakes and tray bakes.

All our soups are freshly made, vegetarian and gluten and dairy free. Gluten-free rolls can be served with soup or filled with one of our sandwich fillings.

Just for Children

During the summer, kids can have their own lunch bags, containing a small sandwich, biscuit, carton of juice and a piece of fruit. Winter or summer, soup can be served in child-sized portions.

Highchairs are available and there is room for pushchairs in the tearoom and outside.
