  The free on site car park has 25 spaces, and is roughly 70 metres from the site entrance. There are two coach spaces in the on site car park. Free parking is available in Lostwithiel, although it is over a mile away from the castle and at the top of a hill (a walk which some visitors may find tiring).

  There is a vending machine selling hot drinks, including tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The on site shop also sells a selection of snacks, including crisps, cold drinks, confectionery and ice cream.

  Picnic Area

  You are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the grounds. There are a number of benches and three tables located on the site, the majority of which offer stunning views of the castle's surroundings.

  The shop sells a selection of English Heritage gifts and themed souvenirs, including toys, books, confectionary, drinks, ice cream, wine and jams.

  Visitors can walk around the castle next to the dry moat, where they will find a number of benches on which to sit and enjoy the stunning views.
