Join us for an 'All day extravaganza' on Sunday 22 March at BlueJam Arts space in Penrith, displaying work completed by participants throughout the ‘Songs of Stone and Water’ project and art commissions inspired by Mayburgh Henge, King Arthur's Round Table and Penrith Castle.
The space will host an exhibition, a relaxed concert, ceilidh, poetry readings and film showings. Participant's work will remain on display throughout April.
BlueJam Arts CIC is an innovative community arts organisation based in Penrith that works with people of all ages living rural lives. They offer an eclectic high-quality intergenerational programme of inclusive creative workshops, friendly gigs and regular groups (samba bands, gamelan, children’s music and art groups, painting, jazz - and more). They also run specific projects that focus on one participant group - such as refugees or neurodivergent teens – or involving a specially designed creative activity.
This event is free.
