Join our resident spooky aficionado Vicky (back by popular demand) as she leads you round the Hall in search of its ghosts. Eye-witness accounts and ghoulish tales from the Hall's past make for an atmospheric tour.
The tours are about an hour long. There is limited spaces so booking advance tickets is essential. Admission to the site must be purchased alongside the tour for each customer via the booking button below.
This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 8.
The tours will run on:
- Sunday 5, Sunday 12 and Sunday 19 October at 3pm
- Sunday 26, Thursday 30, Friday 31 October and Sunday 2 November at 2.30pm
Those wishing to explore the Hall outside of the tour should be aware that we close at 5pm until 25 October and at 4pm from 26th October.

This event is free for English Heritage Members.
If you're not a member, the ghost tours are £3.00 each and entry to the site must be purchased alongisde the event which you can purchase via the booking button above.
How to book
Click the 'Book tickets for Gainsborough Old Hall Ghost Tours' button above, select the date of the event you wish to attend and select the number of tickets required for site admission and click continue. Scroll down to add the the Ghost Tour ticket to your basket and click 'Book now'. Then click 'continue' and follow the instructions on screen. This event is free for members. If you're a member, click member log-in and follow the instructions. Once you make your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation with tickets via email. You will need to bring the tickets with you on the day, either on your mobile device or as a print out.
