Discover a little about Audley End during the Second World War when it was ‘Special training school 43’.
Station 43 was used by the Polish army, it is an important site where we can remember the ‘Cichociemni’ . You will hear about the Special Operations Executive training activities and some of the individuals stationed here.
The tour involves some walking and may include some stairs or uneven terrain. Part of this tour takes place outside, so please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
