Ice Cream Splat Insurance policy terms and conditions
See below for our terms and conditions for our ice cream insurance policy for dropped soft scoop ice cream at select sites in August 2026.
The Promoter is: The English Heritage Trust incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 7447221 and charity number 1140351 whose registered office is at Engine House, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon, England, SN2 2EH (‘English Heritage’).
These terms and conditions relate to the promoted offer ‘Ice-Cream Splat Insurance’ which will run from 13 August 2026 to 31 August 2026.
The Offer: Any customer with a valid entry ticket or membership at one of the 18 below-listed applicable English Heritage sites who purchases a soft scoop ice cream and drops it accidently (while at the relevant site and within the opening hours on the day of their valid entry) will be able to have the ice cream replaced like-for-like at the point at which they purchased at no additional cost, subject to availability.
There will only be one replacement per purchase (if the replaced ice cream is dropped there will be no further replacement), subject to availability.
The offer is redeemable only for Northern Bloc soft scoop ice creams only that have been served in a cone or cup.
The dropped cone or cup must be returned at the point of purchase.
The dropped ice cream will not be refunded. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another benefit or for reimbursement.
English Heritage reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.
Acceptance of a replaced ice cream signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The offer is only valid at these 18 sites:

Management reserves the right to refuse redemption of a replacement ice cream where misuse is suspected.
