Heritage Open Days

Every September, free to access events are held across England to celebrate our heritage and history through Heritage Open Days.

Heritage Open Days returns in 2026 from Friday 11 - Sunday 20 September.

Participating Sites

Thanks to our amazing volunteers and partners across the country, we will be offering free in-person events ranging from walking and guided tours to interior openings, short talks and more.
