Wheelchair Access
Our exhibition and surrounding areas are flat and accessible by wheelchair, including the excavated area out on site. Although please bear in mind that there are some parts of uneven ground and sharp inclines with limited wheelchair access (companion recommended).
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking on site situated approximately 50 meters from entrance. There is gated access to disabled parking. Please use the latch at the top right hand side of the gate to get access. If you need assistance, please call the site on 01697747602.
Seating And Restpoints
Seating is available in the courtyard and at the south west of the fort.
Pathways Surface And Gradients
Gravel, cobbled courtyard and large grassy areas. Some areas of the fort are covered in long grass. Please take care due to uneven ground and historic stonework.

Uneven Ground
Ground is uneven on the ruins of the fort with some areas of long grass. Please be aware that there may be some animal burrows or historic masonry at floor level. Pathways are gravelled in some areas and grass in others. Please be mindful of tree roots.
