If every English Heritage member Gift Aided, it would mean a whopping £2 million more for the historic environment. By signing up for the scheme, you are giving us permission to reclaim tax paid on your membership or donation, increasing the value of your gift by 25p for every £1 you give us, at no cost to you.

If you’re a UK Income or Capital Gains taxpayer you can choose to Gift Aid your membership. This means that, as a charity, English Heritage can reclaim 25p on every £1 that you give on your subscription and any additional donations.

This extra money enables us to undertake vital conservation and education projects and ensure that many of England’s most important historic sites can continue to be enjoyed by future generations.

Yes, I wish The English Heritage Trust to further benefit from Gift Aid legislation and confirm I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council tax do not qualify.
