You can book online until 8.45am on the day of your visit.

You can still buy a ticket when you arrive, but you won’t get the discount.

Your booking is only for entry to the site or event, and you may need to pay for parking.

Tickets are valid all day, so you can arrive at any time and stay for as long as you like within our opening hours.

Tickets are free for members. You can still book online if you’d like – just remember to bring your English Heritage membership card.

You can join as a member online or during your visit.

  <p> There are two steps into house and a wooden staircase to access the first floor. There are no ramps on site. House not suitable for wheelchairs. </p>
Entrance / Set Down
There is easy access to the site from the road with curbless pavement. Disabled visitors can be set down at the entrance to the site, this does not need to be arranged beforehand.

No specific disabled parking allocated. Meters for street parking. Double yellow lines outside of the House.

Main access has six steps. Alternative side entrance has two high steps. Narrow, steep staircase to first floor (ten steps).
