    Car parking near the site is by parking meter. No specific disabled parking allocated. Drop-off area outside for disabled visitors (double yellow lines). The nearest car park is at Town Quay, 0.5 km from the site.

    Limited picnic facilities available but you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy whilst sitting on the grass.

    There is a permanent display of facsimile medieval furniture and furnishings.

    The small back yard next to the house has tubs containing herbs which may have been grown in medieval times.

    Push Chairs Allowed

    Ground floor is suitable for pushchairs. Steep steps to first floor means it is not accessible for pushchairs.

We do have some restrictions at certain locations, so if photography is your main reason for visiting, please call the site ahead of your visit to check if any parts of the site are restricted.
