Facilities at Rushton Triangular Lodge

  • Parking

    V
There is limited free parking for around 5 cars in the lay-by on the opposite side of the road to the lodge (visitors will need to cross a busy road to reach the site entrance). The lay-by can hold one bus, as long as there are no cars already parked there (unfortunately spaces cannot be reserved).
  • Food And Drink

    V
The shop sells a selection of snacks including crisps, cold drinks and confectionery. The local pub in Rushton village serves food, and afternoon teas are available from Rushton Hall.
  • Picnic Area

    V
Visitors are welcome to enjoy a picnic in the grounds - there is plenty of grass on which to spread out blankets.
  • Shop

    V
The gift shop is located next to the admission point. It sells a range of English Heritage souvenirs and gifts, as well as crisps, cold drinks and confectionery.
  • Gardens

    V
Wild rabbits and moles both live in the grounds of the lodge. There are also bats in the monument roof.
  • Family Friendly

    V

    Push Chairs Allowed

Pushchairs are permitted in the grounds only (not in the monument).
  • Commercial Photograph And Filming

    V
English Heritage welcomes all photographers to our sites and we hope you will share your pictures with us on Flickr and Facebook. We do have some restrictions at certain locations, so if photography is your main reason for visiting, please call the site ahead of your visit to check if any parts of the site are restricted. We are keen to promote the use of our sites to location managers. If you are interested please go to (Filming Locations) for more information and contacts. English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
