Dogs allowed on leads in the grounds. Assistance dogs welcome. Water available in bowl at visitor centre.
Push chairs are allowed in most places on site, except the house due to its historic nature. There is an area available for pushchairs to be left outside while you visit the house.
A range of activities to bring the garden to life for children - including a play area and special activity packs for families. Please note that a £10 refundable deposit is required for the activity packs.

Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
