About your pass
The free family admission pass will be available from 20 to 28 September 2025 in publications including the Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star, People, OK! Magazine and many regional newspaper titles across the country, and on limited capacity on Reach's digital channels from 23 September 2025.
You can use the pass until 2 November 2025 at participating English Heritage sites for free entry for two adults and up to three children, or one adult and up to four children. One/two adults without accompanying children are also welcome to use the pass. Sites managed by third parties including (but not limited to) local authorities, Historic Scotland, CADW, Manx National Heritage and National Trust are not included.
Visiting with your free pass
It couldn't be easier. Just choose the English Heritage site you want to visit (see exclusions below), show your printed or digital voucher and enjoy a great day out. You won’t be able to pre-book your visit with the pass, but don’t worry – you’ll always be able to get in. You may also need to pay for car parking when you get to the site – this isn’t covered with the free pass, but you can find out if parking is available and if charges apply on the individual site page on our website.
Signal isn’t always great at some sites, so if you’ve got a digital copy of your voucher, it’s a good idea to download it or print it before you come. Please make sure your screen isn’t in dark mode when you show the barcode to our teams.
