Join us on a guided tour inside the Abbot's Hall and Victorian Library this summer at Battle Abbey. The magnificent great hall formed the heart of the medieval abbot's lodging, a space to show off the abbey's wealth and entertain important guests.
Learn about the history of Battle Abbey after the dissolution of the monastery when the building became a country mansion, the home of generations of the Browne, Webster and Vane families. The building is now occupied by Battle Abbey School in term time so this is an exclusive chance to see inside.
