Painted Ladies Saraband Concerts at Kenwood

DATE

TIME

2pm and 3.15pm

LOCATION

Kenwood

SUITABLE FOR

Everyone

In the eighteenth century, the beautiful music room at Kenwood House
was where the lady of the house would entertain her guests.

It is now peopled by paintings of beauties and celebrities of the age such as Kitty Fisher, Mrs Jordan and Emma Hart in portraits by Reynolds, Romney, Gainsborough and Hoppner. The lives of these painted ladies are brought to life with music for and about actresses, courtesans, milkmaids and the Blue
Stocking Society.

Join us at Kenwood for two 30 minute concerts running from 2pm - 2.30pm and 3.15pm - 3.45pm

We are grateful to the generous support of the Continuo Foundation
for making these concerts possible. Donations towards Kenwood are gratefully received.
