Bring history to life with your own hands at our exclusive Bayeux Tapestry Make-and-Take Embroidery Event at Battle Abbey!
Step onto the historic grounds where the Battle of Hastings unfolded and immerse yourself in the ancient art of storytelling through needle and thread. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned stitcher, this hands-on workshop invites you to create your own textile masterpiece inspired by the world's most famous embroidery.
This workshop is accessed up a set of stairs.

Price Notes
Following member feedback, tickets for our exclusive Members’ Events are now just £5 per person. This small admin fee helps cover our costs and secure your place, with the option to add a donation to support English Heritage’s work caring for historic places.
How to book
