A variety of strange creatures have been spotted at national landmarks, historic properties and blue plaques around the country.

Apparently known as Pokémon, they come in all shapes and sizes, and have been spotted as far afield as London, Cornwall and Yorkshire. Many avid hunters have already been catching them at our sites, but they can be tricky to spot. Don't worry though - we've put together a handy guide to catching Pokémon.

Much like humans, Pokémon seem fascinated by history, and are often found conquering castles, playing in palaces and adventuring at abbeys.

We'd love some help to catalogue and document where they have been spotted, so send us your snaps of Pokémon at our historic places via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and we'll update you on what you can catch and where.
