Wheelchair Access
Wheelchair access is limited, the castle is not accessible for wheelchairs. The café and shop are accessible for wheelchairs. Please call for details or ask at the visitor centre on arrival.
Entrance / Set Down
Disabled parking on same level as visitor centre and two disabled spaces nearer to castle itself. Request access in visitor centre.
Disabled Parking
Disabled visitors may take their cars along the driveway (marked no entry) to within 150 meters of the castle entrance (rough track). Here they will find two disabled spaces. Please notify the custodian in advance.

Stairs
Access to the keep is via a steep, narrow and dark spiral staircase. Around the castle, there are steep steps on the ground level, first floor and at the access to dry moat. The steps across the site may become slippery when wet.
