UNLIMITED ACCESS TO OVER 400 HISTORIC PLACES
Live and breathe the story of England at royal castles, historic gardens, forts & defences, world-famous prehistoric sites and many others.
Parking charges apply to non-members. Parking free for members. Visitors will find a large car park located close to the visitor centre (400 metres from the castle), which is accessed by some steps. To avoid slopes and steps, please park close to the refreshment area. The path to the castle can be muddy in places.
Goodrich's delightful tearoom serves a fine selection of light refreshments made from locally-sourced Herefordshire ingredients. Items on the menu include homemade soup, scones, ploughman's lunch, cream teas and cakes. A kid's lunch, which includes a roll, drink, cookie and fruit, is available in the tearoom.
Dogs on leads are welcome throughout the site.
The castle is surrounded by woodland and fields. There are also grassed areas in and around the castle. Wildlife on the site include bats and pheasants.
Children's trails are sometimes provided during the school holidays, please check our event pages for further information.
A 'Step Into Goodrich' leaflet is available for children.
