Charged public parking at the base of the mound is not managed by English Heritage. There are other car parks dotted around the town, and a Park and Ride scheme.
No dogs allowed. Assistance dogs are welcome.
An audio description tour is available for blind and partially sighted visitors. Please ask a member of staff when you arrive.
No toilet facilities on site. The nearest is a five-minute walk to Coppergate Shopping Centre.

Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
