Seek Out Vibrant Autumn Blooms
Autumn may not be the season most associated with flowers, but the later months of the year offer the chance to see some unique — and very colourful — blooms in our historic gardens.
Seek out the jewel-like cyclamen flower, described by the Roman writer Pliny the Elder. Catch autumn crosus (or 'naked ladies') with their beautiful lilac tones. Or how about the ever-popular Chrysanthemum, grown at Audley End House since at least the late 19th century?
