The nature reserve and area around the castle be slippery in the wet please take extra care. During hot dry spells the grassland can become slippery, please take care. When the weather is hot please carry water with you and take a sun hat, there is very little shade in the nature reserve. It is advised to wear sturdy shoes or boots
