24 May 2026: Osborne cake giveaway terms and conditions

  1. The Promoter is: The English Heritage Trust incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 7447221 and charity number 1140351 whose registered office is at Engine House, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon, England, SN2 2EH (‘English Heritage’). English Heritage operates Osborne located at York Avenue, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6JX (‘Osborne’).
  2. These terms and conditions apply to visitors holding valid entry passes to Osborne on 24 May 2026 (‘the Date’). [Upon presentation to the Osborne House ticketing office,] the first 207 visitors to Osborne shall automatically be entitled to receive a voucher for one complimentary sample of cake (each, a ‘Voucher’).
  3. Visitors or their guardians (as appropriate) are responsible for reviewing the list of ingredients and allergens made available by Management and confirming that the cake sample redeemed with a Voucher is appropriate for personal consumption.
  4. Only one Voucher may be redeemed per person. A Voucher must be presented at the designated redemption point at Osborne and shall be surrendered, stamped or discarded upon use. Vouchers are valid for the Date only and may only be redeemed between the hours stated on the Voucher.
  5. Each Voucher holds no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, credited, copied or resold and, subject to clause 7 below, shall not be redeemable for a benefit other than the complimentary sample of cake.
  6. A visitor’s entitlement to a Voucher is subject to availability, and redemption may cease once allocated Vouchers and/or complimentary cake samples have been exhausted.
  7. Lost, already redeemed, damaged or defaced Vouchers cannot be replaced or accepted.
  8. Staff and management of Osborne (‘Management’) may elect to substitute the complimentary cake sample with an alternative complimentary food or beverage offering where necessary or based upon a visitor’s dietary requirements made known to Management, subject to Management’s discretion.
  9. Management reserves the right to refuse redemption of a Voucher where misuse of the Voucher is suspected.
  10. English Heritage reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.
  11. No additional fee or charge (in addition to a visitor’s valid entry pass) is necessary to redeem a Voucher.
  12. Acceptance of a Voucher signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising out of these terms and conditions.
