"It is impossible to imagine a prettier spot" said Queen Victoria of Osborne House, her palatial holiday home on the Isle of Wight. Your groups can visit Victoria and Albert's private apartments, their bathing beach and children's play-cottage for an intimate glimpse of royal family life.

Group Discount

We offer a 15% discount (10% for Stonehenge) for groups of 11 or more paying visitors when payment is made in a single transaction.
Per group you also receive:

  • free entry for one tour leader
  • free entry for one coach driver

The tour leader, coach driver and any English Heritage members do not count towards the group totals.

Making a booking:

Contact information for making your group booking can be found in the Visit & Contact Information section below. Please include the property name and date of visit in the subject line of your email.

We will require the following information to check availability and book you in.

  • Group name
  • Name of property
  • Tour reference/booking reference (if applicable)
  • Date and time of arrival
  • Number of visitors

Payment method:

Payment can be made on arrival by:

  • cash,
  • credit/debit card,
  • cheque; made payable to The English Heritage Trust.
  • Agency Voucher Scheme (AVS)*

*Agency Voucher Scheme account holders can redeem their company voucher on arrival and be invoiced after their visits. Subject to eligibility, contact us to find out more.

Visit & Contact information

  • Coach parking: Free parking for approximately 20 coaches, 200 metres from the house entrance.
  • Catering: Terrace Restaurant available for group bookings and open during normal site opening hours. Self-service at the Swiss Cottage Gazelle House, April to October only. The Beach Café serves a small selection of sandwiches and snacks. For information on catering call +44 (0) 1983 298052.

Enjoy an exclusive guided tour of Queen Victoria's beloved home during public opening, time slots are 10.15 and 14.30. Expert guides invite you inside to take an intimate glimpse into the private family life of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their family. There will be anecdotes and plenty of personal details. Marvel at the richness of the State Apartments including the Durbar Room with its lavish Indian décor.

  • Duration: 1 and 1/2 hours
  • Minimum-maximum pax: maximum 20 pax per tour. Larger groups can book multiple tours.
  • Advance booking required: Yes, a minimum of 14 days notice is required
  • Price (public opening hours): normal admission fee + £10.00 per person.
  • Price (out of hours): normal admission fee + £350 per group.

1 November to 31 March (Mondays and Tuesdays, when property closed to public)

Enjoy an exclusive guided tour of Queen Victoria's beloved home when the property is closed to the public in the week. Expert guides invite you inside to take an intimate glimpse into the private family life of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their family. There will be anecdotes and plenty of personal details. Marvel at the richness of the State Apartments including the Durbar Room with its lavish Indian décor.

  • Duration: 1 and 1/2 hours
  • Advance booking required: Yes, a minimum of 14 days notice is required
  • Price: Normal admission fee + £40.00 per person.

Aerial fam trip

Take flight above the the palatial holiday home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on this aerial familiarisation visit. Osborne reflects Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's passions, tastes and style. Ornate furnishings and artefacts from The Royal Collection fill rooms and corridors where Victoria entertained heads of state, inventors, princes and princesses and ruled the vast British Empire.
