Group Visits to Osborne

We have opened availability to our Travel Trade partners for visits to Osborne. Pre-booking is essential for all visits.

Booking Information

We provide great value with a 15% discount for groups of 11 or more visitors paying together. We also offer free entry for coach drivers and tour leaders. Contact our Bookings Team to make a booking:

To enable the Bookings Team to deal with your request promptly please ensure you have the following information to hand:

  • Time of visit
  • Number of visitors
  • Your tour reference or booking reference (if available)
  • Method of transport

  • Any other information relevant to your booking request

Test and trace

English Heritage is legally required to request and record the contact details of customers and visitors aged 16 years and over. If you are able to confirm you have your own contact collection system for every individual (including staff) aged 16 years and over ahead of your arrival your group will be able to bypass the check-in step on arrival outlined here. Otherwise any members of a group aged 16 years and over will be required to check in via the NHS Test and Trace app, using the NHS QR code posters displayed at the site entrance. Please factor this into your travel/arrival time.

Any group members who do not have the NHS Test and Trace app must be recorded by you as an attendee on your visit. These records (date, time of arrival, name, contact number or email or address if they don’t have a number) must be stored by you for 21 days, and must be made available to NHS Test and Trace if requested. We may ask you to verify that you have such a system in place, e.g. we may request your company policy or risk assessment.

By confirming your booking you are acknowledging that your group will either use the NHS QR code posters on arrival, or will use your own contact collection system.

Coach parking

Free parking for approximately 20 coaches, 200 metres from the house entrance.

Guided tours

Please note we are not currently operating guided tours at any of our properties due to social distancing measures. We hope to have an update soon on when we can start our guided tours again.

Enjoy an exclusive guided tour of Queen Victoria's beloved home during public opening, time slots are 10.15 and 14.30. Expert guides invite you inside to take an intimate glimpse into the private family life of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their family. There will be anecdotes and plenty of personal details. Marvel at the richness of the State Apartments including the Durbar Room with its lavish Indian décor.

Price: During normal public opening - normal admission price plus £10.00 per person, and for an 'out of hours' guided tour - normal admission price per person plus £350.00 per group

Guided Tour - Special exclusive opening on a closed day
1 November to 31 March (Mondays and Tuesdays, when property closed to public)
