In 1326 Richard, 2nd Baron Talbot, became lord of Goodrich Castle, marrying its owner, Elizabeth Comyn. A supporter of Edward III, his involvement in that king's war against the French was to have a great impact on the development of the castle in the fourteenth century. Join our costumed guide as he explains how Talbot's military career and his capture of the French knight Geoffrey de Charny, reshaped the castle.
