Tintagel Castle is currently closed due to high winds. if you have paid for your tickets you will receive a refund within 10 working days. This will happen automatically so you don't need to contact us. We always do everything we can to avoid unexpected closures like this and we are really sorry to disappoint you. Our shop cafe and exhibition is open onsite and we hope you will be able to visit the Castle on another day soon.

A brand new beginning for Tintagel Castle

We’re transforming the old Wootons Inn into a new, welcoming visitor centre for Tintagel Castle.

Once we firm up our plans, we'll hold an open day for Tintagel residents to hear what they think.
